The Story: I started creating when my sister was diagnosed with cancer. My first creations were very simple sewn tote bags that we sold to raise money for her treatments. The business is named in honor of her victory against cancer. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered and fell in love with painting and fine art. A couple years in, I began teaching and showing my work locally. To my surprise it SOLD. I started out trying to learn by looking at Pinterest because I did not own any art books. Gradually, I invested books and began studying the works from various Art Movements. I fell in love with Impressionism and Post-Impressionism, although, I do dabble in some abstract. In January of 2025, I began researching more sustainable art practices which included alternative materials to paint on and organic paints. I want to leave the Earth better than I found it, and do my part to show aspiring artists, students, etc… that art can be created at a reasonable amount with less cost. I am still learning the organic side, but I plan to be 100% Organic materials by 2027 .
My art philosophy is simple: EVERYONE DESERVES TO OWN ART- no matter their income, and, as an artist, I never want to price my art out of my own price range. I have never understood artists who make art and store it. They die with 1000’s of pieces of art in storage that no one got to enjoy. Art is meant to be shared and makes the world a more beautiful place. My goal is to put art into the hands of people who love it!
